A place call home
Finally moved!! =D
After shifting all my things (freaking many of them!) into the house, GC and I went to walk around the neighbourhood. It only took me ten minutes to totally fall in love with the place!
There's an old-style shopping centre with a myriad of shops selling useful, daily-life stuff, like fruits, mobile phones, cakes, textile, bags, lights, grocerries, whatever you can think of! I suddenly had the feeling of living back in Air Itam again! :)
The house itself is small, but very neat and cozy. The kitchen has this magnificent view of a hustling-bustling residential area (from the 14th floor); while the front door has a vast view of one of the few remaining undeveloped land in Singapore (PIE cuts through the huge field). Till now I've only met 1 of my 3 housemates. She's really sweet. I think I'm seriously going to enjoy my stay here.
I felt depressed because I'm moving out of campus, after living comfortably in it for 3 years. I'll surely miss every inch of hostel life. But at the same time, I really look forward to sharing a memorable friendship with these 3 gals.
Fingers crossed for the BEST! :D
