My First Day In Dreamland

I was very very touched that Jee Ku and Big Sis came to see my off on 31st Aug. They came all the way from KL, and spent the time and money to stay overnight in Singapore... I still regret that I bid a hasty goodbye, would really want to hug them longer. I wasn't crying when i waved at them, but I started weeping when I turned back and saw that they had left. Only at that moment, the fact that I'll be leaving everything that i love behind for 1 year sank in, and the helplessness was overwhelming. Ah Jie, do take care of yourself... I love you always!

A view of the morning sky from my seat. It was splendid... we were above all clouds, and the flight TG960 was escorting us to dreamland...

Touched down at Stockholm Arlanda Airport, and the evidence is here! The first place we went to was our dorm. Sriram, Ruiwen and I are separated from the rest of the NOC gang (cuz we won't be able to stay in Lappis with them). Our home for 1 year will be at Kungshamra, a perfect place for me (something like KE VII)-- surrounded by pine forrest, with a lake within walking distance and a small market place just 5 minutes walk away. I have a tree just outside my window, and the view is like just out of the photos in a magazine. It is what I've always dreamt my future home will be--cozy & simple--the Alison-style!

A German girl who stayed in my room previously was sooooooo generous to leave me her couch, armchair, table lamp, standing lamp, comforter... nice luck for me! hehe!


And on top of all... I HAVE ATTACHED BATHROOM!!! With this, I guess my room qualified as a mini hotel room! haha :D The bathroom was simple, but just nice for me { I don't know how to clean toilets! :'( } Now I can pee without closing the door!! My room is all that i wanted it to be :D
